Teacher's Notes for November

Recital Time!  Please make sure you have our Fall Recital marked on your calendars for Saturday, November 20, at 10:30 am.  Also, please note that there is a $3 recital fee due with your tuition this month.  I hope you all enjoy the group pieces as much as we have!

As you all now know, I am (unexpectedly) expecting another baby, due in April.  Because of that, I will be taking an extended amount of time off.  I am so sad about this decision, as I love each and every one of my students, but I feel that it is the right one to make for my family.  Please don't stop with your lessons!  Every single one of my students right now has such wonderful potential!  I would hate to see the progress that we've made come to an end because of this.  I have included a link with a list of Suzuki teachers in Utah county with their phone number, city, and level of Suzuki training:  Utah County Suzuki Teacher List.
I sincerely hope we can find a good match for each one of you.  Make sure to go and observe their teaching style to make sure it fits with your learning style and then get on that waiting list.  If you can find a teacher you love that has an immediate opening, you might want to jump on the opportunity.  I won't feel bad!  My last week of teaching will be the last week in March, so there is time to find someone great.

Group lessons are this week, Tues or Wed from 4:30-5:30.  I think most people are coming on Wednesday, so if you want to play with the larger group, and have the most people there for your small group rehearsal, aim for that day.  This will be a recital rehearsal, so it is VERY important that everyone attend!

Thanks everyone!
